Peanut rice milk (Huasheng Mijiang)


2 tablespoons short grain rice, cleaned
1 cup roasted peanuts
2 tablespoons roasted white sesame seeds
6 cups hot water
6 tablespoons black sugar


1. Soak the rice for 4 hours.
2. Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend the mixture until it is starchy. Serve immediately.
Additional Note
1. The short grain rice can be replaced with brown rice or mixed grain rice.
2. Peanuts can be replaced with other nuts, such as: walnut, cashew nut, almond, chestnut or pine nut.
