Making Chinese tea western style
It's possible to make Chinese Tea even if you don't have the traditional tea making equipment and tea pots. You just need good Chinese tea leaves, a source of boiling water, and any teapot and cups.
- 1. Warm the tea pot.
- 2. Put 2 teaspoon of tea leaves, such as Oolong tea, into the pot.
-
3. Put 500ml, or 2 cups, of boiling water in the pot.
-
4. Let the tea brew for 2-3 minutes.
-
5. Enjoy the tea when it's hot.
-
6. If you find that the taste is a bit weak for you, just try using a little bit more tea next time, instead of brewing it longer.
-
7. If your tea taste is too strong or bitter for you. Reduce the amount of tea a little next time. And remember not to let the tea brew too long
